pyspark.sql.Column.startswith

Column.startswith(other: Union[Column, LiteralType, DecimalLiteral, DateTimeLiteral]) → Column

String starts with. Returns a boolean Column based on a string match.

Changed in version 3.4.0: Supports Spark Connect.

Parameters

otherColumn or str

string at start of line (do not use a regex ^)
